I'm not saying Druid is garbage, far from it I won tons of games by using hunters to their utmost.
So your telling me if I want to grow trees I have to wait for tier 4?! For trees? I 'm a f**kin Druid! Also Theocrat gets a spell that increases happiness AND gives +10 gold, Fertile Domain costs the same but only gives population. Your best macro spell makes cities grow faster, which becomes useless later on. Or you could play Rogue who can mind control animals And humanoids. Your mind control spell only works on animals, who are almost univerally garbage, unless you get super lucky and find a giant spider lair or something. Your T1 summons don't fly (because why would a f**king DRUID be able to control birds?!) so you scout way slower than everybody else. Because it's a spell you can only make one at a time. The only way you can get heavy hitting units is to summon random animals so you could end up summoning useless spiders or powerful Shock Serpants. Your special support unit has no heal or buff and only does 1 element type of damage
Your T1 unit is literally useless against armored units (of which there are many)
Off the top of my head here are some things you dont get as an Arch Druid that most classes DO have Now just to mix it up I decided to switch out to Theocrat and OHMYGOD what have I been missing? I was playing Arch Druid against my Dreadnaught friend, I won most matches but only via harrassment play, he caught me out in the end by switching to underground Dwarf.
